The Women of Kobani
A series of portraits taken inside a newly erected refugee camp in the Turkish town of Suruc, 5km from the border with Syria and the besieged city of Kobani.
The women have all left husbands, brothers and sons in Kobani to defend their city. Some had left loved ones behind with no knowledge of their whereabouts or well-being.
