Investigative Journalism in the Media
Just a couple of pieces that I’ve come across in the last week that – for investigative journalism-ophiles – I thought were worth sharing.
Firstly, a piece written by Ken Auletta for The New Yorker on The Guardian’s editor of the past 18 years, Alan Rusbridger. CLICK HERE to see story (you may require a login, however).
Secondly, one of the Sydney Morning Herald’s most experienced (and still remaining) journalists, Kate McClymont, interviewed by Richard Aedy on ABC Radio National’s Media Report in regards to her distinguished career uncovering those who’d prefer to remain under the covers. CLICK HERE to listen.
And, finally, in The London Review of Books this week, Patrick Cockburn writes on the misconceptions and falsehoods reported in the media across four major conflicts in recent years – Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. CLICK HERE to visit the LRB website.
