A Decade of Waves
When the sentimentalist in me recently worked out that it had been ten years almost to the day that I had been surfing and coincidentally since I had been using a camera, I thought I should rummage through the archives and put together something of a retrospective. A Decade of Waves takes you from my front doorstep in Sydney, up and down the east coast and beyond to Victoria, South and Western Australia, Indonesia, Reunion Island, Peru, Mexico and more. I have a lot to thank the the surf for. For taking me around the world, for nourishing my interest in photography, for the friends I’ve experienced it all with and of course simply for the feeling that surfing gives me – that meditation and catharsis that nothing else quite manages to match. So thank you… Click here to see the slideshow.

Architectural assignment for The New York Times
Architectural photography is not something I’d really tried before but when The New York Times commissioned me to shoot a spectacularly designed family home in Paddington, Sydney recently, I gave it a crack… Click here to see a slideshow of the images.

TAKE Magazine
Australia has a brand new magazine, entirely dedicated to photography. TAKE Magazine is the baby of Andrew Johnstone from Design is Kinky, Semi Permanent and EMPTY Magazine.
Six or so months ago, Andrew came to Stephen Dupont, Tamara Dean and myself to ask if we would co-edit Issue #1. The resulting magazine is something I’m immensely proud to have contributed to with both a written essay and my thoughts on potential contributors.
The first issue of TAKE features work by prominent practitioners such as Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris, Stefano De Luigi, Adam Ferguson and James Brickwood as well as that of less well known but wonderfully talented and emerging photographers.

Art & Australia Magazine Cover and feature

For Vol 48 no. 4 of Art & Australia Magazine which has just hit the shelves I was commissioned to photograph street artist, Anthony Lister and others for a story written by Joseph Allen Shea of Monster Children Gallery, Izrock and Gallery AS fame.
On another afternoon in Surry Hills, Sydney I made a quick time-lapse of The Demon Hell Riders crew doing their thing when still images weren’t quite cutting it. Check out the time-lapse HERE. Enjoy! aq
